In november colorfabb participated in one of the biggest 3d printshows, the London 3d printshow! Located in the amazing Business Design Centre we knew this was going to be a very inspiring gathering of exhibitors and visitors.
The dutchies had a strong presence at the 3D printshow, we were delighted to meet the people behind Ultimaker, 3d Builder, 3dHubs and Mauk CC. We’ve met so many incredible people during the show, for instance Pedro and Nicolle from Robosavvy. They had a great booth, showing robotics projects and the Makerbot replicator 2s and 2x! Robotics and 3dprinting is a great combination!
Beeverycreative presented their all new Beethefirst 3d printer. We love the branding and design of the company, and the prints looked very sharp too! Another great looking little printer from Be3D was presented at the fair as well, the DeeOrange.
At the show we focussed on our new material Colorfabb WoodFill which is available in a ‘fine’ and a ‘coarse’ woodfiber. For more information on 3d printing with woodfill check out our tutorial. We got some amazing comments on the material, such as ‘this is mental’, ‘it’s wicked’ and ‘it even smells like wood’ these we’ll never forget.
London was great! Now it’s time to focus on the next trade show, Digifab – Euromold in Frankfurt.
